I’m reading about Seal and Heidi’s divorce [pretty intellectual stuff, let me tell you] and this quote from “a family friend” just enraged me for some reason:
‘I wonder if Heidi’s success had caused any friction. It’s difficult for a man if his wife is more successful than him.’
I just think that line of thinking is SUCH BULLSHIT! When did this become an acceptable, excusable attitude for males to have? And it’s always positioned as if it’s the woman’s fault for being so gosh darn ambitious.
Hey fellas of the world: if your wife/girlfriend/whatever makes more than you or is more “successful”: DEAL.WITH.IT. & be happy you’re with such a kick ass woman.
