In 4/5th grade, I was told that writing “69” was the same as drawing a ying-yang symbol. So I wrote 69’s everywhere. In my notebooks. On my math homework. On my desks. I even drew a fake 69 tattoo on my ankle.
Now that I have friends who are teachers, I realize HOW MUCH they talk about the kids in their classes. Mortifying. I was the freak who wrote 69 everywhere.
